Joe Friday

As a motorcycle enthusiast, Joe enjoys volunteering at the Evel Knievel Museum, which is a world-class collection of artifacts from the high-flying adventures of America's favorite daredevil. 

He is an award-winning innovator, author, and actor who has graced audiences in ballet tights and theater makeup.  Joe is an alumni fellow at Washburn University and is active in the community, including tech stuff at his church.

He is married to Erin Bess. Together, they have children attending various colleges at the same time.

Lathan McKay

Lathan McKay, Co-Founder of the Evel Knievel Museum, CEO of Evel Knievel Enterprises, a.k.a. Color Me Lucky, is the collector, curator and preeminent historian on Evel Knievel - the notorious daredevil. While researching and amassing the world's most complete collection of EK memorabilia, McKay has also worn many hats as co-producer and executive producer of films, both narrative and documentary, an impresario of events, a screenwriter, actor, entrepreneur and "manifestor."

Branden Powers

Branden Powers, visionary businessman and former Creative Director for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is the man behind Las Vegas' coolest brands Evel Pie and The Golden Tiki. He is a highly successful and innovative businessman inside and outside of the entertainment industry - including restaurants, nightclubs, casinos and major event promotions. He has received the honor of being in the "Who's Who in American Business" and has lectured at many of the nation’s top colleges.

Mr. Powers is considered one of the founding fathers of the incredibly popular and financially successful underground Rave Movement of the 1990's. 


He is a father, a former semi-pro skateboarder, painter, writer, and lead guitarist for C.O.D., a southern California punk rock group who opened for The Ramones, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and the Dead Kennedys. Branden is currently building a 1970s roller rink and a Heavy Metal themed Pizza Place with animatronics.

Danny Koker

Danny Koker is an American Actor, Writer, Producer, and TV Personality who is best known for the television series “Counting Cars”  and “Saturday Fright at the Movies.” Also, he is featured in several episodes of “Pawn Stars.”


Danny “Count” Koker is a self-taught mechanic known for his love of classic motorcycles and cars. He is also a talented vocalist inspired by his dad. When he was 11 years old, he was a natural- performer before audiences on stage at Carnegie Hall. He owns a Las Vegas-based hotrod and chopper shop called “Count’s Kustoms”, where he serves as the creative force behind each project.

David G. Schwartz

Dr. Schwartz has written and edited 12 books in his area of specialty, gaming history, and has served on several state and local groups, including the Nevada Gaming Policy Committee and the advisory boards of the Museum of Gambling History and the Mob Museum. His research interests include the histories of gambling, Las Vegas and Nevada history, and tourism.
